Marty Edwards wanted to do something to help some of the millions of children who are being abused both sexually and verbally.
The statistics are staggering.
The abusers are sick individuals who can easily be one of your neighbors, your relatives or your friends. They have been getting away with the abuse for years and are not yet exposed.
Marty found a way of making a difference. By using his administrative, creative and musical talents combined with his big heart he has been able to raise thousands of dollars for the Vancouver Police Union Foundation for Abused Children through the founding of this yearly benefit concert. With the help of the dedicated volunteers who support the benefit and everyone who bought tickets, Marty made it easy for all of us to make a difference.
Marty Edwards is also the top Kenny Rogers tribute artist in North America. He performs as Kenny Rogers for your enjoyment as one of the entertainers at the PALLIYH Benefit Concert.
There is no lip-synching, the performance is real.
Edwards has performed with the "Legends of Rock n'Roll", "Legends Alive" and "Country Music USA" and has performed at venues such as The Calgary Saddledome, Edmonton Skyreach Center, Merritt Mountain Festival, Las Vegas, Funtastic Sports Weekend, the Pacific National Exhibition, public and private Golf and Country Clubs, Casinos, Vineyards, and Corporate Events.
